How two indigenous women started this journey
The story began in 2010, when two indigenous women, drifting in new and unknown territory, found themselves on the concrete monochromatic steps of bureaucracy. In a building that shall go nameless, it was within these walls a sisterhood formed spanning beyond the brick and mortar of policy and budgets, to something much deeper… purpose in life. With a common value of “doing the most with what time you have”, they grounded themselves in affecting positive change for the communities and people they cared most about. Thinking of long-lasting impact and legacy, they dared to dream.
It wasn’t long before that dream moved past the four walls with which they worked, and transcended from hope to possibility.
